The limited-edition expression has been released ahead of this year's festival, which will be held virtually.
Independent distiller Glen Scotia has released its new limited-edition Campbeltown Malts Festival whisky for 2021, which this year takes the form of a 10-year-old single malt, finished in Bordeaux red wine casks.
The Campbeltown Malts Festival is an annual event that celebrates Scotland’s fifth and smallest whisky region; once home to over 30 distilleries, Campbeltown is often informally recognised as the ‘whiskiest’ place in the world. As with the 2020 event, this year’s festival will be hosted virtually due to the ongoing pandemic, and will take place online from 7th June 2021.
